Creating colorful stories that celebrate diversity and foster kindness. Perfect for young readers seeking new worlds of inclusion.

A Little Update!
Our storybook meadow has been a little quiet lately, but wonderful things are on the horizon.
The Beatrice Series will be making a joyful return this April, and many familiar friends will be coming back to visit the meadow. These are the friends who remind us that kindness, courage, and friendship come in many different forms.
One of Beatrice’s very best friends, Abigail the Arabian horse, will be returning as well. Abigail is a beautiful Arabian horse who uses a wheelchair, and she brings both strength and grace to the meadow. She reminds us that mobility looks different for everyone and that friendship is never defined by limitations.
Abigail and Beatrice share the kind of friendship that lifts each other up—full of laughter, adventure, and the understanding that everyone belongs just as they are.
As the books return this spring, readers will once again meet Abigail and many other beloved friends who make Beatrice’s world such a special place.
The meadow is waking up again, and we cannot wait to share these stories with you.

Boomer’s Big First Day of ABA! follows sweet, curious Boomer as he takes his very first steps into the world of Applied Behavior Analysis. With the help of his patient therapist, Miss Maisy, and the steady comfort of his big sister Beatrice, Boomer discovers that new routines don’t have to be scary—they can be filled with encouragement, play, and moments of courage he didn’t even know he had. This story gently introduces young readers to what ABA can look like when it’s rooted in compassion, connection, and joy.
Through colorful illustrations and heartwarming moments, children and families see that learning new skills can feel empowering, especially when surrounded by people who celebrate every small victory. Whether your child is beginning ABA, curious about it, or simply loves Boomer’s big emotions and even bigger heart, this book offers reassurance and representation in a way only the Meadow of Many Abilities can. Roots and Wings is a space for thoughtful reflections on parenting, neurodiversity, and the quiet ways children and neurodiverge experience the world around them. Here I share insights, research, and personal observations about raising compassionate, curious, and resilient children—especially those whose minds work a little differently.
This blog is rooted in understanding and guided by the belief that every child deserves both strong roots of love and the freedom to grow into their own wings.
